Dr. Lisa Gieseke

After graduating from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California in 1995, I moved to Denver to complete my training at the HealthONE Osteopathic Family Medicine Program.I have been in private practice here in Aurora for the past 20 years.
In 2016, I was given the opportunity to start working with the HealthOne Family Medicine residents bringing things around full circle and allowing me to help train the physicians of the future. Though this change has limited the time I see patients in my private practice, I love working side by side with the residents providing quality care to the people in our community.
In addition to primary care medicine, We also provide obstetrical care to our patients as well. As a family practice physicians we strive for a low intervention delivery while having appropriate surgical back up if it is necessary. I enjoy teaching the residents that being involved in such a special time in a patient’s lives makes the practice of family medicine very fulfilling.
When I am not working at Cornerstone Family Practice, I can be found at Defy Medical Spa on South Gaylord Street in Wash Park. There I offer a wide variety of cosmetic and skin care treatments including Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Botox, Fillers, Laser Hair Removal, IPL Photofacials, Fractional CO2 Laser Treatments, Body Sculpting, and now PRP injections for hair restoration as well as " Vampire Facials. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters, our two Boxers, Mr B and Little Miss. I am an avid Broncos fan and if I am not at a home game, I just like to find a beautiful white sandy beach, a chair and a good book!
